What we do

Three performers sitting at a wooden table on stage

🌘 At Midnight Feast, we believe in the power of community.

👩🏻‍🏫 Our professional training is about honing skills and fostering social connections within the NIDA community and the wider industry.

🎤 Our course on Monday is always a voice class for spoken word and singing.

🕺 We also have physical movement for performance.

🤹🏽 Last term, we had puppetry. We’ve had burlesque, we've had comedy.

🎥 We hire industry professionals who specialise in different things to help us run classes. The work is always a component of devising for performance, either on stage or in film.

🕛 Midnight Feast is training for best practice—current practice. We work to integrate.

🧑🏻‍🦼‍➡️We are working inclusively, meaning that someone with a physical or intellectual disability can come to NIDA. They don’t have to go to the disability arts; they can attend the mainstream Arts centre. And that’s our fundamental difference.

🏀 You don’t come here to play basketball or go for a swim. You come here, and you’re an artist. You come here to mix with our industry’s finest.
